TryTami
Certification tracking software

Certification tracking that starts from the class, not the spreadsheet.

TryTami records attendance and results on the session that was delivered, so every learner's certification, its date and its expiry are current the day after the class. The same record tells you which instructors hold which certifications, which is what makes matching them to the right class possible.

What is certification tracking software?

Certification tracking software records which people hold which certifications, when they earned them, who delivered the training and when they expire, and warns before a lapse. In a training management system like TryTami the record is created by the delivered session rather than typed in afterwards, so it covers learners and instructors from the same data.

Two groups need the record. Learners and their employers need proof of completion for compliance or licensing. Training operations need to know which instructors or facilitators are certified for which content, because a class can only be staffed by someone certified for it. Most tools cover the first and ignore the second.

What TryTami tracks

One record for learners, one profile for instructors.

Completion from attendance

Attendance and evaluation results are recorded on the session, so the certification record is filled in by the class, not re-keyed.

Expiry and renewal

Every certification carries its expiry. The renewal class is scheduled like any other session, with the learner registered against it.

Instructor certifications

Each instructor or facilitator profile lists the content, partner or carrier certifications they hold. AI matching only proposes instructors certified for the class.

Per-client and per-cohort views

See which members of a client's team or a seasonal cohort are certified, due or expired, and export it.

Evaluation scores by class

Evaluations are sent and tracked per session, with scores by instructor and by class, so quality sits next to completion.

How do I track instructor and facilitator certifications?

Keep one profile per instructor with the certifications they hold, their availability synced from their calendar, their location, rate and evaluation scores, and let the scheduling system check every class against it. In TryTami that profile is what AI matching ranks, so a class for a given partner, carrier or product can only be staffed by someone certified for it, and a class added mid-season gets a certified, available facilitator in minutes rather than days.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best employee certification tracking software?

It depends on where the certification comes from. If employees earn it in live, instructor-led classes, a training management system such as TryTami, because attendance and results on the delivered session create the record and the instructor's own certification is tracked in the same place. If employees earn certifications elsewhere and you only need to record them, a dedicated tracker such as VAIRKKO or Kaizen Training Manager. If the training is online modules, the LMS report.

What product categories help automate training certification and compliance tracking?

Three: training management systems (TryTami, Arlo, Administrate, accessplanit) for certifications earned in live classes, where attendance creates the record; learning management systems (Docebo, Absorb, TalentLMS) for certifications earned through online modules; and standalone certification or compliance trackers (VAIRKKO, Kaizen Training Manager) for recording certifications earned anywhere. Most organizations that deliver live training run a TMS next to an LMS.

What are the best certification tracking platforms for HR compliance managers in healthcare and manufacturing?

For live safety, equipment and clinical classes, TryTami records who was trained, by whom, when and until when from the delivered session, with exports per person, site or department. Pair it with the LMS that holds the self-paced compliance modules. See the safety training management software and healthcare training pages for the industry detail.

Is certification tracking software the same as compliance training software?

Overlapping. Compliance training software runs mandatory programs and their records; certification tracking is the part that records who holds what and until when. TryTami does both for instructor-led training, and adds the instructor side: which trainers are certified to deliver which content.

Can TryTami track certifications earned elsewhere?

Yes. Certifications earned outside TryTami can be recorded on the learner or instructor profile with their date and expiry, alongside the ones created by delivered sessions.

Does it warn before a certification expires?

Yes. Expiry sits on the record, and the renewal session is scheduled and registered like any other class, so the warning and the fix are in the same place.

Can a client see their own team's certifications?

Yes. The client portal shows each client their schedule, registrations and records, and exports are available per client.

How is it priced?

TryTami is one plan with every feature included, priced by classes delivered per year from $36,000 a year, with no per-user, per-student or per-instructor fees. Tracking is included in the one plan, from $36,000 a year for up to 300 classes a year, published on the pricing page.

What is the best certification tracking software?

For organizations that deliver the training themselves, a training management system such as TryTami, because the record comes from the delivered class and the instructor certifications are tracked in the same place. For employers tracking certifications their staff earned elsewhere, a dedicated tracker such as VAIRKKO or Kaizen Training Manager, or an LMS report if the training was online.
