Seminar management software

Seminar management software for providers who run them every week.

A seminar is a session with a speaker, a venue or a virtual link, a capacity and a list of registrants who need reminding. Run twenty a month across cities and clients and the work is scheduling speakers, filling seats and knowing which seminars made money. TryTami runs that operation.

What is seminar management software?

Seminar management software schedules seminars and their speakers or facilitators, takes registrations with capacity and waitlists, sends confirmations and reminders, records attendance and reports revenue per seminar. Event ticketing tools cover the registration and payment; a training management system like TryTami adds the speaker scheduling, client accounts and margin that providers running seminars as a business need.

The split is simple. If you run a few public seminars a year, a ticketing tool and a calendar are enough. If seminars are a product line, with private seminars sold to clients, speakers to coordinate and a revenue target, the operation needs a system of record.

What TryTami runs

Speakers, seats, reminders and revenue.

Speaker and facilitator scheduling

Speakers and facilitators are matched on availability, topic, location and cost, confirmed automatically and synced to their calendar.

Registration with capacity

Branded registration pages with capacity rules, waitlists that promote automatically and reminders tied to each date.

Public and private

Public seminars sell seats; private seminars start as a proposal to a client and run through the client portal.

Venue and virtual

Sessions carry venue, room or virtual link, and Ask TAMI flags a seminar missing one.

Attendance and evaluations

Attendance recorded on the session; evaluations sent and scored per seminar and per speaker.

Revenue per seminar

Seat revenue or client billing against speaker and venue cost, so margin per seminar is visible.

How do training providers manage recurring seminars across cities?

Treat each seminar as a session on one calendar with a speaker, a venue and a capacity, and let the system repeat it. Speakers share availability in their portal or calendar, matching proposes an available speaker per city, registration pages open per date, reminders go out automatically, and a date change cascades to the speaker, the registrants and the invoice. Revenue and cost sit on the same session, so the city-by-city margin is a report, not a spreadsheet.

Frequently asked questions

Is seminar management software the same as event management software?

Event management software covers conferences, exhibitions and ticketing. Seminar management software is narrower: scheduled sessions with a speaker and a capacity, often sold to clients as well as the public, where speaker coordination and margin matter. TryTami is built for the second.

Can attendees pay online?

Public seminars use registration pages with capacity and waitlists; public, self-service seat sales with payment are the open enrollment feature, included in the one plan. Private seminars are billed to the client.

Can we run the same seminar in several cities?

Yes. Each date is a session with its own venue, speaker and registrations on one calendar, with conflict detection across speakers.

Does it handle virtual seminars?

Yes. Sessions carry the virtual meeting link, and Ask TAMI flags a session missing one.

Can speakers be external?

Yes. Internal and external speakers are one pool with one profile each, and there are no per-speaker fees.

How is it priced?

Flat by plan, tiered by sessions delivered per year, with no per-seat or per-speaker fees. Each seminar delivered counts as one session. Pricing starts at $36,000 a year ($3,000 a month) for up to 300 classes a year and is published on the pricing page.
