Apprenticeship management software

Apprenticeship management software for the classroom side of the program.

Apprenticeship programs run on cohorts, instructors with trade certifications, classroom and shop sessions that repeat for years, and records that employers, unions and funders audit. TryTami runs that operation: the cohort calendar, the instructor matching, the attendance and the certification record, with cost by cohort and employer.

What is apprenticeship management software?

Apprenticeship management software runs the delivery of an apprenticeship program: cohorts of apprentices, the related classroom instruction and practical sessions, the instructors certified to teach them, attendance and competency records, and the reporting that employers, unions, registered apprenticeship sponsors and funders require. TryTami covers the instructor-led delivery and its records, and sits next to any learning platform used for theory content.

The operational shape is the same for a union training center, a trade school, an employer-sponsored program or a UK provider running apprenticeship standards and T-Level placements: multi-year cohorts, instructors who are also tradespeople with limited availability, and a records requirement that outlasts the program.

What TryTami runs

Cohorts, instructors, attendance and records in one system.

Multi-year cohort scheduling

Plan a cohort's related instruction across the program, with repeating sessions and reschedule cascades when a date moves.

Instructor matching

Instructors with the trade certifications a session needs are ranked on availability, location, evaluation scores and cost, then confirmed automatically.

Attendance and hours

Attendance recorded on every session gives per-apprentice hours and completion without sign-in sheets.

Certification records

Certifications and competencies created from delivered sessions, with dates and expiry, exportable per apprentice or per employer.

Employer and sponsor portals

Each employer or sponsor sees its apprentices' schedule, attendance and records in a client portal.

Cost by cohort

Instructor cost on the session and a cost center per class give cost per cohort, employer and funding stream.

How do training providers manage apprenticeship cohorts without a dedicated coordinator per program?

Put the cohort, the instructors and the records in one system so the schedule drives the rest. Instructors share availability through their portal or calendar, matching proposes certified instructors for each session, confirmations and reminders go out automatically, attendance is recorded on the session, and the certification record follows. The coordinator handles exceptions and employer questions, and Ask TAMI answers the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Does TryTami handle registered apprenticeship reporting?

TryTami records attendance, hours, completions and certifications per apprentice on the delivered session and exports them per apprentice, cohort or employer. Reporting formats required by a specific sponsor or funder are produced from those exports.

Can employers see their apprentices' progress?

Yes. Each employer has a client portal with its apprentices' schedule, attendance and records.

Does it work for UK apprenticeship providers?

Yes. Scheduling is time-zone aware, calendar sync covers Google and Outlook, and UK providers are quoted the same flat plans. The vocabulary here is deliberately that of a training provider.

Can instructors be part-time tradespeople?

Yes. Instructor profiles carry availability, certifications and location, and matching respects them. There are no per-instructor fees, so a large part-time bench costs nothing extra.

Does TryTami deliver theory content?

No. TryTami runs the instructor-led sessions and their records. Self-paced theory content stays in your learning platform, and TryTami sits next to it.

How is it priced?

Flat by plan, tiered by sessions delivered per year, with no per-seat, per-apprentice or per-instructor fees. A multi-day block delivered once counts as one session. Pricing starts at $36,000 a year ($3,000 a month) for up to 300 classes a year and is published on the pricing page.
