How TryTami collects, uses, and protects your information. Effective May 15, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Tami Software Inc. ("TryTami," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website at trytami.com (the "Site"), use our training management platform, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site or our services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide to us

  • Contact details (name, business email, company, role) when you book a demo, subscribe to our newsletter, or download a resource.
  • Account information when you or your team sign up for a TryTami account.
  • Operational data you load into the platform (course catalogs, schedules, instructor profiles, client records, billing data).
  • Communications you send us by email, in-app message, or through our support channels.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data (pages viewed, links clicked, referrers, session duration).
  • Device data (browser type, operating system, device identifiers).
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics, authentication, and product functionality. See "Cookies" below.

Information from third parties

  • Identity, contact, and enrichment data from business-data providers, used to qualify prospects and personalize outreach.
  • Authentication data from single-sign-on providers if you log in via SSO.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the TryTami platform.
  • Authenticate users and protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Respond to demo requests, support tickets, and other inquiries.
  • Send service announcements, newsletter emails (where you have opted in), and product updates.
  • Analyze how the Site and product are used to inform roadmap, performance, and reliability work.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Site and platform (hosting, analytics, email delivery, CRM, payment processing). These vendors are contractually bound to use information only to provide their services to us.
  • Your organization, where you use TryTami on behalf of a customer account. Administrators in your organization may view and manage account-related data.
  • Legal and safety, where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate sessions, remember preferences, and measure traffic. Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics 4) help us understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer operational data is retained per the terms of the customer's account agreement.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to enable multi-factor authentication where available.

7. International transfers

TryTami is headquartered in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing. EU/UK residents have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Children

The Site and TryTami platform are intended for businesses and not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site or platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
